Bill Butler is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Beacon Trust. He was previously Senior Vice President, research director, and a portfolio manager of Tirschwell & Loewy.  He joined Tirschwell & Loewy in 2007.  Mr. Butler has more than 30 years of experience in equities, fixed income, research, portfolio management, and advising on investment and financial matters.  Mr. Butler previously spent eight years as a portfolio manager for the asset management divisions of Credit Suisse and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette where he was responsible for managing over $1.5 billion in core equity portfolios for institutional and private clients. Mr. Butler earned his B.A. in economics at the University of Notre Dame in 1986 and his M.B.A. in finance at the University of Chicago in 1989. He has held the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation since 1998. Mr. Butler is a member of the CFA Institute and the New York Society of Security Analysts.
