Valerie Murray is President of Beacon Trust. She is focused on the overall delivery of wealth management services to individuals and institutions. Ms. Murray most recently held the position of chief operating officer of Beacon Trust where she was responsible for initiatives across the organization related to client services, technology, marketing, and operations.

Ms. Murray has worked in the financial services industry for over 20 years. Prior to joining Beacon Trust in 2011, she was senior vice president and senior trust officer at U.S. Trust in New York City. During her 15-year tenure with U.S. Trust, Ms. Murray administered high net worth relationships and successfully transitioned clients through two mergers and acquisitions, including Charles Schwab’s acquisition of U.S. Trust in 2000 and Bank of America’s acquisition of U.S. Trust in 2007.

Ms. Murray serves on the Board of Directors of Jersey Battered Women’s Services, Inc. (JBWS), and she is a member of Provident4Women, a social networking group organized in 2014 to share insights about various topics impacting women. Ms. Murray received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Bucknell University, and she is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™.
