Susan E. Hayes Joins Beacon Trust

MORRISTOWN, NEW JERSEY (February 28, 2017): Susan E. Hayes of Katonah, NY, has joined Beacon Trust Company as Managing Director and Fixed Income Portfolio Manager. In this position, Hayes will be responsible for setting fixed income strategy and making investment decisions for both taxable and tax-exempt bond portfolios.  She has extensive experience in fixed income, including credit analysis and portfolio positioning in all bond market cycles.  Hayes is the lead member of the Fixed Income Investment Committee and also a member of firm’s Market Outlook committee.

Hayes has more than 24 years of experience in asset management. Prior to joining Beacon Trust, she was Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager at Oppenheimer Investment Advisers, a subsidiary of the Wealth Management division of Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. 

Hayes received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Manhattanville College and an MBA from Pace University. She was a frequent presenter at Oppenheimer Asset Management Investment Summits and Roundtable meetings.
